Pesticide Study

A pre-med student, takes notes while collecting dust samples to send back to the lab for analysis at Texas A&M School of Rural Public Health laboratory.  These results, soon to be published, help local farmers see the current contamination of their soil.

 

They are already embracing organic pesticide measures, but sadly, the effects of these compounds last for years.  As funding allows, we will expand our efforts in providing means and education for Himalayan farmers to have good crop production without poisons.
